Gavin Turk - “Les Bikes de Bois Rond” - new postcard box set.
The Frieze Art Fair starts tonight and we are pleased to launch a new box set with Gavin Turk at the show. The set includes all of the bicycles from Gavin’s new work “Les Bikes de Bois Rond” - beautifully reproduced as postcards. The sets are available at freize this week, and will go on sale at the end of October at select Polite stockists and online at the Polite Shop.
Over a hundred leading artists including David Hockney, Damien Hirst, Anthony Caro, Howard Hodgkin, Anish Kapoor, Richard Hamilton, Bridget Riley, Antony Gormley and Tracey Emin have joined the campaign to make the case against the proposed 25% cuts in government funding of the arts.
The campaign was launched with this brilliant animation by David Shrigley.
